The Duran Tools (tools.theduraninsider.com) · last updated 23 October 2026

The Duran Tools are The Duran's own tools for making videos and publishing them to The Duran's social media accounts. They are used only by The Duran's team and the people it invites. This page explains what they keep and why.

What we keep

• Your sign-in: your name, email address and a secure hash of your password (never the password itself).
• Connected social accounts: when you connect YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X, we keep the account's name, picture and id, and the access the network gives us to post for you. That access is stored encrypted on our server and is never shown to anyone, nor shared with any other company.
• Your posts: the text, photos and videos you write or upload to publish, the time you chose, and the result (published or the reason it failed).

How we use it

Only to do what you ask: publish the posts you create or schedule to the accounts you chose, show your channels and your posts' status, and keep you signed in. We read nothing else from your social accounts. We don't sell or share any data, show no advertising and use no tracking or analytics.

YouTube

The Duran Tools use the YouTube API Services to upload videos to the YouTube channels you connect. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove our access at any time at Google security settings. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X

We use each network's official API, only to publish what you choose to the Pages and accounts you connect. You can remove our access in each network's settings (Facebook: Settings → Business integrations; Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites; TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions; X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions).

Keeping and deleting your data

Disconnecting an account on the Connections page deletes its access from our server immediately. Photos and videos uploaded for posts are deleted from our server when the post is deleted. To have all your data deleted, including your sign-in, write to salvatore@theduran.com: we delete it within 30 days and confirm it to you. This is also how to ask for the deletion of data received from Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.

Where it is kept

On The Duran's own server. The connection to it is encrypted (HTTPS).
